As a person who spent 35+ years working in the nonprofit world, running nonprofit foundations and raising money to help take care of the community, I know how to message. When I retired, I focused on publishing (11 novels, 2 short story books, and 3 nonfiction books on Amazon) and launching my own freelance writing company (Lil Dog 

Communications) where I have no helped nonprofits all over the world with their messaging.

I have also taught creative writing for 10+ years through Green River College and now offer the

Tiny Guides Library on my website, with free and low-cost writing resources for emerging authors.

I worked in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years and know how limited resources are. That's why I purposely priced my services low enough when I retired that nonprofits could enlist a professional writer to tell their stories and raise more money. I can also review material before it goes out to make sure you're putting your best foot forward.

INDIVIDUALS

I've had the privilege of writing for dozens of individuals embarking on a new career in either life-coaching or speaking when they've hired me to write inspirational key note speeches. In the process, I have helped them clarify and organize their thoughts to use in workbooks, online courses, or speeches. I also do limited ghost writing and can help you self-publish a short eBook to bolster your career or conduct a project review to identify problems areas and make clarifying suggestions.

BUSINESSES

Many businesses need help writing effective customer stories to place on their websites, or they need help with writing business letters that not only clearly outline their thoughts but help to persuade the reader toward making a decision. I can even serve as a writing coach for your staff so that they build the skills to do it on their own or merely review existing copy to edit for mistakes or suggest changes that will strengthen the impact. I'd love to work with you on your messaging projects.
